One thing I love about my hometown is it the fact that is a full grown city with a right balance between excitement and relaxation - beaches are just few hours away and the city has the urban life you need. How can you not, right?
Mactan Island, which is 30 minutes to an hour away, offers a variety of resorts perfect for some rest and relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of the city life.
Plantation Bay Resort and Spa is such a bae. I really love this place and I wouldn't mind coming back again and again. I mean, who wouldn't? This private five-star resort has around 257 rooms. They might be a little bit pricey (considering breakfast meals are excluded) but an overnight stay is definitely worth it! You may also avail their daytripper adventure package which costs P2000 per person. The package is inclusive of using the resort facilities such as the saltwater and fresh water lagoons, beach, game room, 15 minutes bike ride, and 30 minutes use of the kayak plus consumable lunch.
